About Elise McCammond
Freeman High School graduate, Elise McCammond will be our HS Volleyball Head Coach this upcoming season! With a solid foundation as a competitive volleyball player and three years of coaching experience, Elise is eager to bring her passion for volleyball and her commitment to developing athletes to our team. Her journey in volleyball has been marked by a dedication to both personal athletic development and team success. As a 5’5″ outside hitter, she has honed her skills in reading the game, executing strategic plays, and maintaining a high level of physical fitness. Her experience on the court has taught her the importance of adaptability, resilience, and leadership—qualities that she carries over into her coaching career. Over the past three years, she has had the privilege of coaching players of various ages and skill levels. This experience has not only deepened her understanding of the game but has also allowed her to refine her approach to coaching. Elise prides herself on her ability to connect with players, foster a positive team culture, and create a competitive environment where athletes can thrive and improve and develop a deeper love for the sport. In her coaching practice, she emphasizes the development of fundamental skills, the importance of teamwork, and the cultivation of a strong work ethic. Elise believes in creating individualized training plans that cater to the strengths and areas for improvement of each athlete, ensuring that every player has the opportunity to reach their full potential.
