Building Champions for Life

Reardan Athletics is built on pride, perseverance, and community. Our programs help student-athletes grow in skill, character, and teamwork while representing Reardan with heart and determination both on and off the field.

Reardan Athletics MVP Process & Championship Culture

At Reardan High School, athletics is more than competition—it is an extension of our educational mission to develop character, leadership, and integrity in every student-athlete.Through the MVP Process & Championship Culture Program, our athletes learn what it means to pursue excellence both on and off the field.

Leadership in Action

Each week, all Reardan High School athletes attend a 30-minute class with Athletic Director Kenton Clairmont. These sessions focus on personal growth, accountability, and the standards that define The Reardan Way. The program is built around three core pillars: Mission, Vision, and Core Principles, guiding our athletes to become champions in sports, in the classroom, and in life.

Mission

F.A.M.I.L.Y. for Life

At Reardan, we believe that athletics creates lifelong connections and lessons. “F.A.M.I.L.Y.” represents our commitment to supporting one another, working together toward shared goals, and building a community that lasts long after graduation.

Vision

F.A.M.I.L.Y. for Life

Our vision inspires athletes to achieve success through dedication, teamwork, and perseverance. Each step reflects a stage in our journey toward excellence:

Core Principles

Our championship culture is built on six guiding principles that shape every athlete’s experience:

Faith

Believe in the process, in your teammates, and in yourself. Trust is the foundation of every great team.

Accountability

Take responsibility for your actions, in victory and defeat. Hold yourself and others to the highest standards.

Motivation

Strive daily to improve. Be driven by purpose and passion.

Integrity

Do what is right, even when no one is watching. Represent your team and community with honor.

Leadership

Lead through example and positive influence. Every athlete has the power to lead.

You

Your effort, attitude, and energy define our culture. You are the difference.

Above the Line vs. Below the Line

Reardan athletes are challenged to model “Above the Line” behavior—actions that elevate themselves and those around them. These include helping others, showing integrity, maintaining strong effort, and displaying a positive attitude.

Conversely, “Below the Line” behaviors—such as blaming, complaining, or poor effort—undermine personal and team success.

Through this structured approach, Reardan Athletics fosters excellence, resilience, and unity. The MVP Process & Championship Culture Program ensures that every athlete leaves Reardan not only as a better competitor, but as a stronger person, student, and leader—truly part of a F.A.M.I.L.Y. for Life.
